Dedicated to honey bee rescue, education, conservation and pollination services, Blackland Bees derives its name from the Texas ecological region known as the Blackland Prairie.  We work with residents, businesses and municipalities to safely remove and relocate honey bee colonies and swarms to our managed apiaries.  Blackland Bees provides education and demonstrations for local schools and a variety of organizations throughout the DFW area.  Our conservation efforts are focused on establishing pollinator gardens, supporting local community gardens and participating in Blackland Prairie restoration projects.  Finally, Blackland Bees provides pollination services focused on almond pollination as well as local honey production.
